Sunday School Choir!

I have been teaching Sunday school every second month. The children are so smart and so much fun! Anyway, we decided to make a mini "choir" and sing this song at the beginning of class. I told them I would video tape them- aren't they great! It is such a joy to teach God's word to these little people and watch them absorb! I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to understand and learn about the Bible! What a joy to be able to teach children about the Lord!

Getting ready for church

Well, this is Charity's idea of getting ready for church!

Still Camping

Well, in the first picture she is having a bath in the tummy tub! It is the portable camping bath tub! She absolutely loved it and called it her "Hot Tub!"
The next picture she is eating a banana and posing for the picture. What a ham!
Well, obviously she is sleeping in this picture! You can't really tell by the picture, but obviously she was busy because all of her pillows were stacked from largest to smallest- and she is laying on top of them. This is in the camper we used while camping!

Visit with Oma and Opa- Camping!

We all went camping together in Saskatchewan! Charity had soo much fun she didn't want to come home! Here are some pictures of her with Oma and Opa.

Dressed to play!

Duane and I bought Charity a few costumes for her "tickle trunk". She has been enjoying dressing up as a puppy, a dinosaur, and she has yet to try out the monkey costume! She sure did not want to take the costume off. She kept declaring that she was a puppy when I would try to take it off.

Uncle Ike and Duane- the Buddy Hand Shake!

Painting the Deck!

Daddy and Charity slaving away =)
Good thing Charity had her gardening gloves on!!

Work'n on the deck!

August long weekend!
Duane had the Monday off this past week, so he finished off the deck! Charity was a "big" help =)- at least she tried to be! She helped daddy paint. She took the blow pretty hard when she got fired by daddy. She sobbed for a while, but she got over it pretty quickly when I brought out banana split's!

Uncle Ike's Visit

We were able to get together with Uncle Ike and Auntie Eileen on their trip in Edmonton. Charity really loved uncle Ike, during our drive home she kept talking about "Unca Ike.." it was Unca Ike this and Unca Ike that. We enjoyed being able to meet Auntie Eileen as well. Great to see you guys!

Our Anniversary

On July 26th Duane and I celebrated our fourth anniversary!

This year it was Duane's turn to do the planning. Well, he didn't leave me an easy job for next year (my turn!). Anyway, he took me out on a great adventure. I have wanted to get one of those "old fashioned" picture's taken of us for a long time. A few year's ago we went to Fort Edmonton on a date, we had a lot of fun, except we didn't get our picture taken at the "Old Fashion" Photography place. Well, Duane took us there on our anniversary just to replicate the wonderful date, and to top it off- we got our picture taken! (See picture above, I had to take a picture of a picture, so it's not great.) Then after that he took me to our Fairmont hotel! We ate dinner there and stayed the night. It was pretty incredible. We had a 3 course meal for supper- the best food I have ever had! Then, in the morning we were served breakfast in bed! It was a pretty neat experience! The view from the room we stayed in overlooked the river valley, and we watched the sun go down in the evening right from our room! It was such a beautiful view!

crammed

In this picture all Barb's kid's (except baby) and Charity crammed themselves on the swing! They had so much fun together!

Then we stayed at Auntie Mary-Ann's place for a few day's.
I got to spend much time with my cousin, and good friend, Barb and her family! I sure enjoyed our time together. Here are some picture's of Charity and Barb and Bernard's kid's.

Steph and Doug- New Home

The first place we went was my sister Steph and her husband Doug's place. They have many kitten's, and the whole time we were there Charity had to be holding a kitty!

She also had a lot of fun getting to know her cousin's- Kieran and Emilie.

Picture's

Before Charity and I headed off to Winnipeg, we had a dinner date with the family. Charity and daddy had some good bonding time.

July Summary

Well, can you believe that July is gone and August has snuck it's way to the surface? How time flies, and children grow! =)
Well, July was a month that flew by much too quickly! My mom, Charity and I took a trip to Winnipeg for 10 day's in July. We spent 10 day's visiting family I haven't seen for quite a while! The time flew by, but I was still content to come home. There is truly no place like home, and no church like a home church! Charity had a great time with family and enjoyed far too much freedom! =) When I got home I felt like I entered a new house! Duane was so busy working on the house when I was away that I told him I should leave more often! He put new step's on the deck, built shelving in the garage (Yay!) and did a lot of things in the yard! It was so nice to come home to that!
We also got a new hot tub in July! We are just awaiting the gazebo which will come any day now. I will post picture's when the work is done! (and when I learn how to upload them on here!)
Well, there's a summary on the month of July. I'll be keeping you posted as August creep's on!

Beginning's

Well, I am not quite sure how to do this blogging thing yet. I was inspired by a good friend, Bettina, and my sister-in-law, Nicole, to start one up! They do such a good job! It's a great way to keep up on what is going on in everyone's life.
So, here I begin.
